The President, accompanied by the head of the district administration, the chairman of the Kamenka city district council and the head of the construction department of the PMR Government, continues to inspect the schools of Kamenka district. The focus is on the infrastructure of educational institutions.
This is not the first time Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the school of Kuzmin, but in the status of the President for the first time, the director of the nine-year-old school noted at the meeting. She told the President that local graduates give preference to institutions of secondary vocational education located on the territory of the republic, units continue their education in grades 10-11 of other schools in the district. A comprehensive school and a kindergarten were combined into a single complex as in most small settlements, in the village of Kuzmin. This is expedient from the point of view of the efficiency and rationality of the use of funds allocated for maintenance, and is convenient for the local population. Here, an area was allocated for the arrangement of a rural medical outpatient clinic. The local inhabitants are happy.
The complex in Kuzmin is currently visited by 11 preschool children and 41 students. The institution that bears the name of the Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Soltys, is located on the street of the same name. The building was built in 1976. All window blocks and part of the door blocks were replaced in it under the state capital investment program in 2022. It is necessary to repair the gym, catering unit, dining room, the premises of which are used as an assembly hall if necessary.
The President was informed that in addition to the pupils of the kindergarten group, 31 schoolchildren have lunch in the canteen, 12 of them on a preferential basis. Discussing plans to re-equip the kitchen unit, they came to the conclusion that it is possible to use household equipment for cooking, abandoning bulky and expensive professional equipment.
Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in whether the school premises were heated enough. Local boiler houses function in rural schools that allow them to quickly respond to weather changes and regulate the heat supply for a comfortable stay for children and employees, said the head of the district Vladimir Bychkov. When asked by Vadim Krasnoselsky about additional education, they answered that there are sports sections, creative and tourist circles in the kindergarten school.
