Residents of Tiraspol celebrated not only the City Day, but also a temple holiday – the Protection of the Theotokos. Parishioners of the capital's churches marched through the streets of the birthday city today, uniting for a common prayer on the main city square – at the chapel of the Protection of the Theotokos, built on the site of the Theotokos Church destroyed in the atheist years.
The festive service was led by the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa. The PMR President of the Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the festive service.
