Initiated by the President meeting with the participation of the Heads of the PMR Government, the Ministry of Economic Development, the State University and a construction organization involved in repair and construction work at the facilities of the Pridnestrovian State University was held at the presidential executive office. Plans for further renovation of the university infrastructure were discussed. Two million rubles will be allocated this year in addition to the funds already disbursed. These funds will allow not interrupting the repair and construction process in November-December. Building A has been reconstructed and equipped. Buildings B and C are next in line. They will be repaired in 2023. There is a minimum of administrative premises, mainly classrooms in these buildings. The design style and choice of materials will be identical to those used in the main building of the university. Attention will be paid to gyms and the museum of archeology. 12 million rubles are provided in the Capital Investment Fund-2023 to finance repair and construction work in the Pridnestrovian State University. The President instructed to draw up estimates for the purchase of furniture and equipment – they will also be updated. Building G and the building that houses the Faculty of Economics are also planned to be renovated. This is a slightly longer-term issue, presumably 2024. It is necessary before that to complete the landscaping work on the campus that was suspended due to the identified need for a large-scale reconstruction of engineering networks. The heating main will be replaced according to preliminary calculations in April with the closing of the heating season. Other communications will also be updated. The main repair work will begin in the summer. It is necessary to pave the territory with paving slabs, equip a sports area, plant greenery on the campus and fill it with small architectural forms.

There are construction flaws that need to be leveled in order for the building to serve for a long time. There is a necessity of current repairs of some premises. They talked about the construction of a future simulation center on the territory of the Republican Clinical Hospital. This is an object of the Ministry of Health, but directly related to the process of physicians education. For example, a need was noted for acquiring a Pirogov Anatomy for the center – such as has been used at the Medical Faculty of the Pridnestrovian State University since the beginning of this academic year. Interactive educational equipment is in demand, it is involved in the process of training not only future doctors, but also practicing physicians who seek to improve their skills, as well as students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports.
