Tiraspol, October 6/ Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tiraspol tennis player Dmitry Lavrov won the silver medal in the individual competition of the “We Are Together. Sport” International Paralympic Games. Competitions these days are held in Sochi and will be finished on October 9th.
The “We Are Together. Sport” Paralympic Games are attended by more than 2 thousand athletes from Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Germany, Eritrea, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Mali, Tajikistan as well as Georgia. The Russian national team includes the Paralympic Games, World, and European Championships’ champions, and medalists.
In the coming days, RF Sports Master Dmitry Lavrov will compete for medals in doubles and mixed doubles titles.
The Pridnestrovian tennis player, together with coach Oksana Shakhova, is part of the Russian Paralympic team.
