Work to increase the network of modern well-equipped leisure facilities in Pridnestrovie continues. New parks, cultural centers, sports and entertainment centers, cinema and concert complexes are being built or existing parks are being reconstructed and modernized in all cities and districts. A summer cinema is being restored in Slobodzeya. It was built more than half a century ago and was popular with local residents and guests of the Slobodzeya district. The object began to deteriorate without proper attention and investments. Movie screenings have stopped. At the request of the residents of Slobodzeya and the insistence of the President, the cinema was included in the capital investment program. Almost 2.5 million rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund this year. Head of the Slobodzeya administration Vasily Tishchenko told Vadim Krasnoselsky during an inspection visit today that these funds have been almost completely disbursed. The planned work was completed by 88%. The weather allows them to continue. The possibility of allocating additional financial resources is being discussed. Among the sources under consideration are the incomes received by the district in excess of the planned ones. The reconstruction will continue next year in any case. The object within the framework of the capital investment program is considered to be carried over. The full implementation of the project will require another 2.5-3 million rubles.
