The results of the republican competition for the award of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic among young specialists in the sphere of education were summed up. 27 people received awards. The age of employees of the educational sphere, whose merits were especially noted this year, is from 27 to 35 years. The best were determined in six nominations – among educators, teachers, teachers of special (correctional) organizations and institutions of additional education, teachers of the system of secondary and higher professional education. The award ceremony took place today at the Palace of the Republic as part of the annual pedagogical conference. This large-scale discussion event is traditionally held on the eve of the start of the academic year. Teachers, heads of educational institutions and representatives of public authorities summarize and discuss plans for the future, exchange views, share projects and developments aimed at improving educational mechanisms. The theme of the teachers' conference is "Social partnership as a factor in achieving a new level of education quality" this year.
