Dear Pridnestrovians!
30 years ago, a large-scale aggression of the Republic of Moldova against the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic began, but our people defended freedom and independence thanks to the courage and steadfastness of the defenders of Pridnestrovie.
The war brought terrible grief to Pridnestrovian families: 804 people were killed, thousands of people were injured, tens of thousands became refugees.
I am deeply convinced that the tragedy of thirty years ago should never be repeated in the future.
Knowing what war is and what horrors it brings, Pridnestrovie is committed to exclusively peaceful development, paying special attention to improving the economic and social situation of its citizens.
