Tiraspol, February 25 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tiraspol football club Sheriff conceded the Portuguese Braga based on the Europa League playoffs. The two-legged affair confrontation destiny was decided in a penalty shootout.
It should be reminded that in the first game in Tiraspol, Sheriff won with a score of 2:0. However, in the return match, Braga won back its advantage. Two extra times by the match’s regulation time didn’t reveal the winner. In the penalty shootout, the Portuguese were a little more accurate (with a score of 3:2).
Thus, Braga clinched their ticket to the Europa League in the 1/8 finals. Tiraspol, in its turn, left the second most important European Cup tournament.
