Tiraspol, February 13 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Sabina Artemchuk from Bendery town became the Open European SAMBO Cup’s winner for prizes of the Republic of Belarus President.
The Badanov wrestling school trainee entered the top of the three strongest athletes in the weight category up to 59 kg at competitions in Minsk. The first place was taken by her rival from Russia, the second one by a Belarusian sambo wrestler.
The Open European SAMBO Cup was held on February 12-13 in Minsk. Fights took place in the Chizhovka-Arena sports complex. Based on two competitions days results, medalists and prize-winners in 21 weight categories, were determined.
