According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of Coronavirus, 7899 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 1685 of them are being treated in specialized hospitals. There are 10 hospitals. The current hospital bed quantity is 2107 units. Additional beds have been deployed in infectious diseases hospitals on the basis of the Dubossary hospital (55 hospital beds more), the hospital of Rybnitsa (plus 120 hospital beds). A hospital has been set up in the capital on the basis of the Tirotex dispensary for 120 beds, and in the hospital of Kamenka for 75 beds. 228 beds are occupied in the hospital of Slobodzeya at the moment, 232 in the hospital of Rybnitsa, 164 in the hospital of Dubossary, 248 in the city hospital of Bendery, 193 on the basis of the children's hospital in Bendery, 392 in the coronavirus unit of the Republican clinical clinic, and 99 in a specialized hospital at on the site of the veterans hospital, 51 on the basis of the Tirotex dispensary. In addition, the treatment isolator operates in the psychiatric hospital of Vykhvatinsky (there are currently 55 patients). There are sick people in the House of Veterans of Pervomaisk: 8 patients and one employee – all of them were sent for treatment to a hospital. The workload of the hospital network is currently 80%. It is hard to tolerate coronavirus for 253 people – 15% of the total number of hospitalized, 36 patients are in intensive care units, three persons are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 6214 Pridnestrovians are being treated at home. 128 such patients required hospitalization from January 31 to February 6. The number of children infected with coronavirus is 126 people.
16702 samples of biomaterial of citizens suspected of having an infection were examined during the week (442478 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 5663 cases. Average daily incidence is 809 (662 a week earlier). In total, 97833 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 2032 carriers of the virus – 2.1% of the sick – died (eighteen deaths of the disease in a week), 87902 people or 90% of those infected coped with the disease (3794 recovered during the reporting week). 5457 Pridnestrovians are in conditions of mandatory self-isolation.
1100 Pridnestrovians completed a full course of vaccination during the reporting period. In total, 138488 people, or 36.2% of the adult population were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic. 5002 people received a booster dose of vaccine from January 31 to February 6, a total of 57601 revaccination courses were carried out.
