The Minister of Internal Affairs informed the President about some incidents of the past week. They focused on the message received on the 21st of January regarding the alleged mining of the building of the House of Soviets and a hospital. Law enforcement agencies have taken all the necessary measures. No explosive devices were found. It is noted that cases of receipt of such letters by e-mail by the Ministry of Internal Affairs have become more frequent. The identity of the sender is established. The President instructed to intensify work to identify the perpetrators and prevent such offenses.
Another case, about which the Minister of Internal Affairs informed the PMR President, was related to the threat of the deliberate spread of coronavirus. The infected patient has left the hospital. He was returned to the hospital within two hours. It was noted at the meeting that it is necessary to intensify information and educational work with the population. Citizens must understand the level of danger to which they expose themselves and others as well as be aware of the responsibility they will incur for the deliberate spread of a dangerous virus, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.
The meeting participants discussed the consequences of bad weather on January 18 and January 19. The strong wind caused the trees to fall. The General Directorate for Emergency Situations received reports of a threat to tear off the roofs of buildings. In total, approximately one and a half dozen appeals from citizens were received. There were cases of emergency power outages. There was no electricity in 769 addresses in the village of Tokmazeya, Grigoriopol district two hours. There was no power supply for a short time in the villages of Khrustovaya (Kamenka district) and Yerzhovo (Rybnitsa district) – fifty subscribers totally.
According to Vitaliy Nyagu, 207 employees and 43 units of special equipment of the public utilities of the republic as well as 19 specialists and 6 technical equipment of the Main Directorate for Emergency Situations were involved in eliminating the consequences of bad weather. 480 tons of sand-salt mixture was used to fight ice. Five accidents caused by adverse weather conditions, and four cases of street injuries were registered.
