Igor Smirnov and Archbishop Sawa congratulated Vadim Krasnoselsky on taking office as PMR President

Heads of government and local authorities, ministries, departments, government services, public associations, and clergy were invited as guests to the inauguration ceremony of the elected PMR President, organized taking into account pandemic restrictions. The ceremony was attended by representatives of foreign countries. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov was among those invited.

The honorary right to congratulate Vadim Krasnoselsky on taking office was given to the First President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Igor Smirnov. He headed the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic from the moment of its proclamation until the end of 2011. Igor Smirnov wished the PMR President, elected by the Pridnestrovian people and re-entered office, success in the upcoming work, calling difficult the activities of the Head of State, carried out for the benefit of the people. The founder of the republic assessed the past five-year period of Vadim Krasnoselsky's presidency as "avoiding disasters in all spheres of society". Igor Smirnov directed the leader and citizens of the Pridnestrovian state to ensure economic growth in the country, improve the welfare of Pridnestrovians, improve living standards and preserve the history and memory of ancestors. Igor Smirnov included decency and respect for citizens among the most important presidential qualities.

Another participant in today's solemn event is Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa. Addressing from the stage of the State Theater to those present in the hall and to all residents of the republic, Vladyka Sawa noted that everyone who supported Vadim Krasnoselsky see in him not only a leader, but also a person devoted to the Fatherland who honors spiritual values ​​and Orthodox traditions.
