The President visited Kamenka District with inspection

The President held a visiting meeting with the Head of Kamenka administration. Progress in the improvement of the area was discussed. It was noted that over a quarter of a billion rubles have been invested in social infrastructure in recent years. Problematic aspects still remain at the same time. The President specified which villages were covered by utilities and which utilities had not yet been made. 18 villages have been supplied with gas and a dozen settlements in the region are included in the centralized water supply system according to Vladimir Bychkov. Several villages in standby mode, among them was Podoima. The PMR President decided to visit this settlement. Its population is about one and a half thousand people. The village has a House of Culture, a kindergarten school, a library, post offices and savings banks, a medical outpatient clinic. An important object for local residents is the historical and cultural complex "Stalin's Line" (permanent fortification 24A), the regional head emphasized.

The President visited the local House of Culture, which is being renovated. The building of the institution was provided with heat and water supply. Internal and external works have been carried out. The roof was overhauled, door blocks were replaced. The facade is being tidied up. 2.4 million rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund for this object. The arrangement will continue. They plan to purchase blinds for the windows, purchase the necessary furniture. The PMR President was interested in the creative teams of the House of Culture. Three groups are engaged on an ongoing basis. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked whether it was possible to allocate premises for sports activities. This was discussed during the previous visit of the President. There is a hall. It was equipped, but so far at a minimum – on its own. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to calculate the costs of new sports equipment. They discussed the issue of placing a gym in the future in the basement of the House of Culture - more spacious and isolated from the working rooms and the assembly hall of the House of Culture.

The upcoming costs of water supply to Podoima were discussed with the Head of Kamenka. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked what other questions besides providing the village with heat, water and sewerage, bother the inhabitants of Podoima. They said that the school-kindergarten complex needs expansion. It is also necessary to improve the park area of ​​the village.

Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the city House of Culture. The President has been to the Kamenka House of Culture more than once. The increased attention is associated with renovation. The capital investment program financed the renovation of the roof and facade last year as well as the replacement of windows. This year, we have allocated almost one and a half million more for internal work. Renovation and equipping is at the final stage. Everything should be ready for the New Year holidays.

They also discussed during the inspection visit to Kamenka the plans for the improvement of the central part of the city. The leadership of the local administration was instructed to develop the project.

Vladimir Bychkov during conversation with the President noted that 50 million rubles had been allocated from the Capital Investment Fund during the operation of this state program to the Kamenka District. The list of renovated facilities includes the central regional hospital. The roof was replaced in the surgical, infectious and therapeutic departments, as well as in the laundry, the entrance group of the polyclinic was put in order, the window blocks were changed in it, and the maternity hospital was renovated. The object requires further renovation. The order of repair work is scheduled. Residents of Kamenka still pin great hopes on the continuation of the program of the Capital Investment Fund, while they will also seek municipal opportunities, Vladimir Bychkov emphasized.

The Wittgenstein Park did not go unnoticed by the President. Its reconstruction and improvement are under constant presidential control. Current issues and long-term plans were discussed with the district administration and representatives of the contractors involved in the facility.
