Tiraspol, December 06 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Tiraspol Electromash plant is expanding its manufacturing production line. Recently, the enterprise has manufactured an open vertical asynchronous electric motor, which has no analogs in the whole world.
According to the plant’s press service, this order is intended for a new partner, a large Russian Technosila company, the contract with which became possible only thanks to a joint project with LLC Elkom, the Elektromash’s official representative in Russia.
Technosila is specializing in pumps production and supply as well as spare details for large and medium-sized pumping equipment for water supply facilities, fuel, and energy, agro-industrial complexes as well as chemical and metallurgical industries.
After the machine manufactured by SP CJSC Elektromash is delivered to Russia, it’ll be equipped with a pump and the ready-to-use aggregate will be sent to the ordering company.
The new electric motor was invented according to the Technosila individual technical requirements. The project is unique because the machine is made in a single copy and is a pre-production model not only for Electromash but also for the ordering company. The Engine power is 1,000 kW, the voltage is 6 kV, the rotational speed is 600 RPM, the weight is 6 tons.
This isn’t the first vertical machine manufactured at the Elektromash plant, however, it differs from the previous ones in that it’s open and has an IP 23 protection degree against environmental influences.
“Several interesting joint projects have already been planned for the immediate future. In the year 2022, at the Electromash plant, at least two more exclusive electric motors of different sizes and capacities will be manufactured for Technosila,” the company noted.
