Presidential Inspection: PSU and the school number 18 stadium

Pridnestrovian University is more than nine decades old. The university infrastructure includes a significant number of objects, most of which have long been in need of repair. Putting them in order was initiated by Vadim Krasnoselsky. The work is carried out according to the state Program of Capital Investments. The facades, roofs and window blocks of most buildings have already been updated. The entrance groups of the main buildings have been transformed, the area between them has been improved. It is now called the University Square. Increased attention is paid to the landscaping of the adjacent territory. A major overhaul of the campus requires a significant investment, the work continues here. Connected with putting the campus in order the presidential instruction, indicated the paving of the territory with paving slabs, the installation of gazebos, the improvement of the sports sector, the carrying out of repair work in the residential buildings (in the hostels, bathrooms, laundries, kitchen blocks, corridors are being repaired and refurbished). Interim results were assessed by the President today. He visited the facility with an inspection. The student hostel number 7 is almost complete. Work will be completed in building number 4 by the end of the year. The President focused on household appliances. The issue of purchasing automatic machines for drying clothes was discussed (washing machines have already been installed). As for the third student hostel: there was a proposal to change its functionality from a hostel to educational. This is due to the fact that the housing stock of student hostels is not fully used (the buildings are designed for 960 and360 students live there). At the same time, the university is experiencing a shortage of classrooms, the President was told. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to submit the reconstruction project for review to him, taking into account the proposed new profile.

The PMR President asked about the state of engineering communications. The President was informed about the results of a survey of external networks by specialists from specialized organizations. The modernization of the gas pipeline and associated facilities is not required. The cable lines of the Unified Distribution Grids are also in satisfactory condition. The water supply network requires a complete replacement (80% deterioration). The heat and hot water supply system also needs overhaul (some sections of the network have been in operation since 1936). The reconstruction of water and heat supply networks will require approximately 1.7 million rubles.

The President visited not only the campus. He examined other university locations. All buildings of Pridnestrovian State University will be gradually renovated.

Work on improvement of the stadium at the Tiraspol school number 18 continues. Vadim Krasnoselsky has repeatedly inspected the facility. The project was expanded on his initiative. This site is thought out not only as a base for physical education lessons and classes in sports clubs, but also as a leisure area for residents of the microdistrict. The funds allocated through the Capital Investment Fund were used to build a modern football field with artificial turf, a basketball court, treadmills, a jumping pit, and equipment for workout training. Vadim Krasnoselsky was told during the presidential inspection of the facility today that it is planned to increase the number of outdoor exercise equipment. The PMR President drew attention to the need to lay a safe rubberized coating in the workout area and on the children's playground (it is already equipped). The President emphasized that increased attention should be paid to landscaping.
