The President visited the village of Priozernoye, Slobodzeya District

The main goal of the state policy in the healthcare is the formation of a system that ensures the availability of medical care and an increase in the efficiency of medical services, volumes, types and quality of which must correspond to the level of morbidity and the needs of the population, says the text of the Development Strategy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Among the tasks, the implementation of which is aimed at achieving this goal, indicated the restoration and development of the healthcare infrastructure, including rural medicine (repair and construction of rural medical outpatient clinics, feldsher-obstetric stations), as part of the implementation of the activities of the Capital Investment Fund. Work in this direction is underway. This direction is under the presidential control. The PMR President personally examines the requests of citizens. The priority is collective, as they affect the interests and rights of a large number of Pridnestrovians. In response to numerous requests from residents of villages where there were no primary health care centers, Vadim Krasnoselsky initiated a program to install compact modular-type feldsher-obstetric centers in small settlements. In villages where there are medical facilities, the condition of the buildings in which they are located is often critical. There is a choice - to reconstruct the old building or build a new one in such cases. The decision is made taking into account the estimated costs (repairs should be expedient) and the opinions of local residents (this is the principled position of the President).

Preference was given to repair work in the village of Priozernoye, Slobodzeya district. The funds to clean up the building, which had not been renovated for four decades, were allocated under the capital investment program. The work was started in March. The reception of patients was resumed already in the summer, although the facade work and external improvement continued. Today the renovated facility has been officially put into operation. The President arrived to congratulate the residents of Priozernoye on this event. The villagers gathered at the feldsher-obstetric center, expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for the attention to their needs. They said that there are many elderly people in the village, for whom it is extremely important to have a doctor within walking distance. It was noted: the more remote a settlement, the more organized the internal social infrastructure should be. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the readiness for the vaccination campaign planned for the coming weekend as part of the vaccination marathon in rural areas. Both the staff of the feldsher-obstetric center and the local population are ready for the event in Priozernoye.

Words of gratitude sounded today from the villagers for the allocation of the school bus. The villagers turned with a request to help change the schedule of the regular bus. They say that it would be much more convenient if the transport by which the residents of Priozernoye get to the city arrived earlier.

They drew attention during the conversation to the condition of some sections of the road: it is necessary to update the asphalt surface. The President noted that next year's plans include the allocation of 80 million rubles from the state budget to put in order the rural roads. The villagers indicated that the street lighting system on Frunze Street also needs reconstruction. Another street, Kotovskogo is almost two kilometers long, illuminated. More than three dozen lamps were installed here with funds from the Road Fund in 2018. The water supply system needs partial repair. Reconstruction of water supply networks did not affect this part of the village (1600 meters of pipes were replaced in 2019, an artesian well was drilled in 2020).

Another request from the residents of Priozernoye is to pay attention to the local House of Culture. The building is quite spacious by rural standards – it is designed for 200 seats. Several groups were engaged not so long ago in six rooms, more than two dozen people – adults and children – were engaged in vocals and dances, mastered the skill of artistic reading and the basics of theatrical art. There were four employees on the staff of the House of Culture. To date, there is no director or artistic director. The only club formation that continues rehearsals in spite of everything is the Ivushka female choir. They say they are preparing to perform at the upcoming temple festival of the village. They say that the rain the day before yesterday again reminded of the leaky roof of the building. Taking into consideration the cold snap, it adds discomfort and the lack of heat in the premises (the gas boiler room does not function, old windows need to be replaced). Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed the Head of the district administration Vasily Tishchenko to prepare the necessary documents. It is necessary to assess the forthcoming costs and decide how long the object can be repaired. It is assumed that the work will take place in two stages. That is, two years will be allocated for the complete reconstruction with the allocation of funds from the Capital Investment Fund for 2022 and 2023. Discussing this issue with the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Martynov, Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended thinking over a program for the repair of rural houses of culture, emphasizing the importance of preserving and improving these facilities as centers of cultural, educational and social life of villagers.

Another unexpected request from some local residents is to return the name to the settlement. It became lakeside in the 80s of the last century. It was the village of Varvara before that. Vadim Krasnoselsky answered that the decision should be made by local authorities taking into account the opinion of citizens of course.
