Bendery, September 16. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Two meetings of the Joint Control Commission were held in Bendery. In total, during these meetings, more than 50 issues were considered, including 9 reports of the Joint Military Command.
“We have received full information about the situation in the Security Zone from July to the present day. We really saw how our military observers worked, how they interacted with local authorities, with law enforcement agencies, studied the situation on location, and received a clear answer to all the questions from the point of view of peacekeepers: that the dangers of preparation for the conduct of hostilities , to complicate the situation in the Security Zone currently does not exist, all the main mechanisms of the peacekeeping process are functioning normally,” Oleg Belyakov, Co-Chairman of the JCC from Pridnestrovie stressed.
The Head of the Pridnestrovian delegation noted that "the crisis in the work of the JCC, which arose at the initiative of the Moldovan side, was successfully resolved." The issue of repairing the peacekeeping posts was resolved in full.
“Everyone realized that work should be done at peacekeeping posts. And creating difficulties for each other in order to complicate the peacekeepers` service is counterproductive. All parties came to a common opinion that it is necessary to move in this direction, find funds, if possible, contact local authorities, other structures that are responsible for certain procedures, but the process must go on,” Oleg Belyakov told reporters.
