According to the information announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 482 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 90 of them are being treated at home, 392 – in two infectious diseases hospitals, the total workload of which, taking into account the additionally 85 hospital beds, is 87% (257 beds are in the Slobodzeya hospital (86%), 135 (90%) in the Rybnitsa hospital. 36 carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to the deteriorating state of health in the period from the 30th of August to the 5th of September. 69 people are seriously affected by the coronavirus, or 18% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment, 18 are patients in intensive care departments, one is connected to artificial lung ventilation device 254 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
2882 samples of the biomaterial of citizens with suspicion of infection were examined during the week (266096 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 378 cases. The average daily incidence is 54 cases (51 a week earlier). 52491 cases of COVID-19 infection in total were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1282 carriers of the virus - 2.4% of cases - died (11 deaths in a week), 50727 people - 97% of those infected coped with the disease (during the reporting week, 395 recovered).
1898 Pridnestrovians completed a full course of vaccination from August 30 to September 5. In total, 92687 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic, or 24.2% of the adult population admitted by the age criterion to vaccination.
