Festive program on the occasion of the 223rd anniversary of the formation of the 55th Podolsk Infantry Regiment was organized at the site of the Alexander Nevsky Park. Participants of the regimental holiday visited the temple of the same name.
The PMR President with his wife took part in a prayer service conducted by Vladyka Sawa. Memorial candles were lit. The parade of the Company of the Guard of Honor of the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic took place on the park ground later. The celebration of the next anniversary of the formation of the 55th Podolsk Infantry Regiment ended with a concert of the "Dniester" Vocal Instrumental Ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The musicians performed on the open stage of the Alexander Nevsky Park. The repertoire is selected based on the principles of patriotism. The artists noted that the program contains works included in it on the recommendation of Vadim Krasnoselsky, expressing gratitude to the President for this choice.
