Many ministries and departments of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. The Ministry of Justice is among them. The official date of foundation of the justice bodies of our state is July 24, 1991. The corresponding department was formed then, in the staff of which there were 9 specialists. The profile ministry was created a year later, including people's courts, notaries, civil registry offices. Today's Ministry of Justice of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is represented by thousands of employees - lawyers, notaries, registrars, bailiffs, employees of the penitentiary system, employees of state supervision, military personnel of the escort battalion. The structure of the department includes several institutions and unitary enterprises - the Bureau of Technical Inventory, the Training and Methodological Center, the State Unitary Enterprise "Ostrog", "Pristav" and others. This was discussed today during in the course of the solemn meeting dedicated to the anniversary of the department. The event took place in the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the event.
Congratulating the staff of the Ministry, the President noted the importance of the department, as well as the high level of professionalism of the staff of the justice authorities. Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed the veterans of the justice authorities, stressing that it was they who laid the foundations of the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Justice, formed an effective system, and contribute to its further development.
The most distinguished employees of the Ministry of Justice of the PMR were awarded state awards. Attention was also paid to the veterans of the service. Anticipating the award ceremony, Vadim Krasnoselsky honored the memory of Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Gennady Prutyan, who had been awarded the Order of Labor Glory, who died on the eve of the solemn day. The award was handed over to the relatives of Gennady Pavlovich.
The Minister of Justice of the PMR Alexandra Tumba presented the President and other honorary guests of the festive event with the jubilee medals “30 years of Pridnestrovian justice”.
