The President invited members of the PMR Public Chamber to the conversation

Vadim Krasnoselsky met with representatives of the Public Chamber of Pridnestrovie in the conference hall of the Administration of the PMR President. The event was initiated by the President. The goal is to discuss topical issues of the republic's life, exchange information and opinions on various aspects. Foreign policy was discussed. They focused on the topic of parliamentary elections in Moldova in particular. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that their result was predictable. The PMR President drew attention to the fact that the current changes in the neighboring state are of an evolutionary, and not, as happened earlier, of a revolutionary nature: the people supported the course determined by the political elite. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that Pridnestrovie is aimed at dialogue with the people's representatives of Moldova. He noted at the same time that Moldova is characterized by a change in the negotiating agenda after the next round of electoral processes. Nevertheless, the Pridnestrovian side is ready to continue negotiations and expects to increase its activity in this direction.

A significant part of the conversation was devoted to domestic politics. They talked about the pandemic. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the republic coped with this unexpected test with dignity. The state is ready to continue to resist the spread of coronavirus. There are resources and now we have our own experience of struggle. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that ten hospitals (about three thousand beds) are in full readiness in case of increase in morbidity. A reserve of medicines and oxygen has been formed. The President emphasized at the same time that the Pridnestrovian society is gradually developing collective immunity against COVID-19. Vaccination continues. New deliveries of vaccines are expected. The question of revaccination was also raised. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that the decision to repeat the course should be made by citizens on an individual basis, taking into account the state of health and characteristics of the organism. As for the purchase or allocation for Pridnestrovie of another batch of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V, the President plans to discuss this issue in the near future in Moscow: a two-day working visit to the Russian capital is planned. The consular service point activities in Tiraspol are among the topics that will be raised in Moscow. Today it is not working at full capacity. This is due to the staff shortage. Many Pridnestrovian Russians have documents with expired validity in their hands (this is due to the fact that the consular point did not receive citizens for more than a year due to quarantine restrictions). The flow of requests is great. The staff cannot cope with the influx of statements.

The capital investment fund program was not ignored. The participants in the meeting agree that it is effective and should be continued. It is noted that 56 kindergartens, 62 schools, 21 correctional institutions, 42 medical institutions, 16 sports facilities, 14 buildings of cultural spheres, 8 buildings of additional education, as well as two dozen parks and squares and more than fifty playgrounds have been repaired during the existence of the capital investment fund. 728 million rubles were spent. In addition, a billion was spent on upgrading the housing and communal services infrastructure. Members of the Public Chamber consider that the current five-year plan is under the sign of the country's recovery, and expressed hope that the next five years will be a period of increasing economic growth and development. It was also noted that Pridnestrovie demonstrated economic stability in 2020 despite the pandemic and drought.

The topic of employment was discussed in the course of the meeting. They said that a state program was needed for systematic movement in this direction. Public figures are concerned about the fate of the Tiraspol United Museum: they asked if the capital's museum would be lost with the creation of the state museum. The President assured that this would not happen and spoke about some of the project developments. The President was asked for assistance in solving the issue of increasing the period of admission of children to health camps. The fourth shift will be organized on behalf of Vadim Krasnoselsky. Another acute problem raised during the conversation with the President is the absence of a child psychiatrist in the republic, a shortage of neurologists and, in general, specialists working with children who require a special approach due to the peculiarities of their development. The President was told about special cases and various problem situations. Appropriate presidential instructions have been given to resolve it. Discussion of some issues will continue at the site of the presidential executive office with involvement of responsible officials in the discussion.
