It was stated in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President that the decrease in the incidence of coronavirus among the population of the republic made it possible to reduce the number of beds in specialized hospitals. The hospitals in Slobodzeya and Rybnitsa are receiving infected patients at the moment. They are designed for 363 beds, 43% of which are occupied today. We are talking about level II hospitals – the hospitals in which patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 are treated. The network as a whole is three-tier and has 674 beds. There is a proposal to close the III level everywhere – departments where citizens who have overcome the coronavirus, but still need medical care, complete the course of treatment. After listening to the opinion of representatives of the Ministry of Health Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he supports their initiative, but subject to increased control of the condition of citizens discharged from second-level medical institutions.
Progress in the vaccination of the population of the republic was discussed in the course of the meeting. 40154 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the first dose, 23133 Pridnestrovians have completed the preventive vaccination course. Vadim Krasnoselsky told about the supply of several types of vaccines. AstraZeneca (6000 doses) and Pfizer (876 doses) have been delivered to the republic. Today or tomorrow the Russian Sputnik V (20000 doses), Chinese Sinofarm (20000 doses) and Sinovac (15000 doses) will arrive. All this is humanitarian aid. The PMR President expressed gratitude for the support provided to Pridnestrovians in the fight against coronavirus, recalling that the neighboring state had made a decision to allocate for Pridnestrovie 10% of the volume of vaccinations entering Moldova as humanitarian aid.

Pupils of social institutions will start a health-improving campaign. The first shift includes 139 children. The full resumption of the work of the health camps was initiated by Vadim Krasnoselsky, based on numerous appeals from citizens and the positive opinion of experts from the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service.
The members of the Headquarters discussed the issue of holding graduation parties in educational institutions. The main condition is the organization of celebrations in open areas. It is recommended to change the date and not the place of the ceremony of presenting certificates and diplomas in case of bad weather. Preliminarily, the school graduation balls will end on June 18. Students complete their studies later.
