According to the information announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 443 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 146 of them are being treated at home, 295 in infectious diseases hospitals. The workload of the reduced network of specialized hospitals is 29%. In connection with the deterioration of health in the period from the 27th to the 30th of May, 17 carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment. It is hard to bear the coronavirus disease for 87 people, or 30% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment, 20 are patients in intensive care units, five are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. Two of the sick are citizens in places of imprisonment. 70 people are waiting in hospital conditions to receive the results of the study of biomaterial samples. 203 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
1479 samples were examined during four days (223761 during the entire time of pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 89 cases. The average daily incidence is 22 cases (the previous figure was 29). Totally, 49223 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1194 carriers of the virus (2.4% of cases) died, 47586 people (97%) coped with the disease.
3923 Pridnestrovians underwent the initial stage of vaccination with "AstraZeneca", 374 completed the course, 28296 people were vaccinated with the "Sputnik V" first component, 1220 Pridnestrovians received the second dose.
