Tiraspol, May 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. An online meeting and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Public Chambers of the two states took place at the site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Odyssey Bigvava, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Alexander Stetsyuk, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR Alexander Vataman, Head of the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie in Abkhazia Garry Kupalba.
“The functioning of full-fledged Public Chambers in the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is a very important link both in the development of civil society and in the life of the republics as a whole, and, undoubtedly, their interaction with each other will be interesting and useful in the future. While your professional qualities, competence and life experience, dear Guli Mikhailovna and Vladimir Olegovich, will create the appropriate conditions and the necessary platform for discussing topical issues from the socio-economic and political agenda that are of mutual interest for Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie. For my part, I can assure that the Official Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR will, within its competence, provide any assistance and help for the implementation of the cooperation plans outlined by the Public Chambers,” Alexander Vataman, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR said.
