Alexander Martynov met with students of the Russian Financial University

During the discussion, they talked about the motivation for students’ homecoming as well as operational programs in the republic

Moscow, May 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR Prime Minister Alexander Martynov together with his deputies Tatyana Kirova and Sergey Obolonik are on a working visit to Moscow. The day before, the Prime Minister met with students from Pridnestrovie, who are studying at the Financial University under the Russian Federation Government.

During the meeting, they discussed a motivation for homecoming as well as the operational programmes in the republic. Students noted that in Pridnestrovie they want to have more opportunities to implement their plans. According to young people, there’s insufficient information for students on vacancies in the republic.

“There should be the request for specific specialists, which focused on the searching for students as well as what kind of specialists is needed,” students emphasized.

Under the Alexander Martynov instruction, this issue will be worked out, and the Government will make advances. Students are also asked to do their practical work at home. This option will also be worked out. According to the First Deputy Prime Minister – the Finance Minister Tatyana Kirova, young personnel in one of subordinate state services is selected precisely during their practical work.

The Chairman of the Government shared his personal similar experience: Alexander Martynov in his student days on his own initiative went to inland revenue inspection for practical work. The Prime Minister is sure that nowadays initiative and purposeful young people have every prospect of success: “There are a lot of success stories of young people, who started from nothing and just had a desire and appreciation for their profession.”

The discussion was continued by The Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik. According to him, nowadays Pridnestrovie is developing in many directions, including such popular spheres in the world as: IT technologies, tourism as well as investing activities.

“Structures for tourism as well as investment have been created under the Ministry of Economic Development. All these created directions can be an interesting launching pad for realizing of oneself either in the field of tourism, investment policy or in corporate structures, where there is a large deficit of management with modern competencies,” Sergey Obolonik noted.

In conversation with students, Alena Pavlika from Tiraspol explained that this year she is finishing her studies and will obtain a degree in the financial investment management. According to young woman, after discussions with the Government’s leadership, she sees perspectives – in the summer she is planning to start cooperation and return home.

“There were many offers, which were addressed to us and were interesting. Many young people are interested in homecoming to Pridnestrovie in order to improve the economy as well as our region in whole. And it will be interesting for us,” Alena Pavlika described.

The future lawyer Anton Chekal is a second-year student. He shared that returning home is the almost every student’s dream. The main thing is prospects. He enthusiastically speaks about the opportunity to undertake an internship in Pridnestrovie:

“There were different options for practical work. For instance, from the first year I was offered to do a very convenient internship – to return home and doing it here in the summer. This’s very comfortably and we gratefully for it. I would be happy to return home, if I firstly see real opportunities for development.”

Another Financial University’s student Dmitry Ermoschenko is a first-year student. The young man has a dream of opening a garment manufacture in his native town – Dubossary.

“This is my home and I want to provide jobs. I want to open a garment manufacture and make clothes in Dubossary town. I think, it would be a really great idea. There are prospects as well as vacancies, but at the same time the personnel shortages is ponderable. And if you are a real professional of your craft, then you will achieve success. I’m very glad that I could attend such meeting today,” Dmitry Ermoschenko described.

Similar meetings with students have already taken place. During his last visit, in October 2019, the Prime Minister also met with Pridnestrovians, who are studying at the Financial University. Then Alexander Martynov described how the republic’s economy is developing, as well as what the republic is offering for young specialists. In addition, some students were invited to collaboration with various ministries.
