Tiraspol, April 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Darya Kozorez from Tiraspol won a silver medal at the Youth World Boxing Championships. Еhe Pridnestrovian athlete was boxing with the Indian representative and conceded the gold of the tournament to her.
Daria Kozorez competed in the weight category up to 81 kg. She barged through to the finals after defeating the Spanish boxer in the quarterfinals, as well as defeating her Kazakhstan rival in the semifinals.
The Youth World Boxing Championships among athletes of the 2002-2003 years of birth takes place in Kielce (Poland) during the period from 13 to 23 April.
