Tiraspol, April 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovian Republican Bank has put into circulation The Bendery Fortress commemorative coins in the Ancient Fortresses on the Dniester river series. They are made of basic metals. Coins nominal value is 3 rubles.
In the center of coin reverse, the Bendery fortress is depicted; at the top of it – a ribbon with the inscription “THE BENDERY FORTRESS” as well as a stylized rosette with the 1538 year of the fortress foundation is indicated beneath of it.
The coins mintage is 5 thousand pieces. They are the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank monetary symbol, serving as means of exchange and payment on the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic territory and are accepted at nominal value.
