Tiraspol, April 08. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The coronavirus vaccination campaign against coronavirus has been continuing in Pridnestrovie. About 293 people have been vaccinated with AstraZeneca, but 545 have been vaccinated with Pfizer. The Head of the PMR President’s Administration Sergey Belous informed the head of state Vadim Krasnoselsky, who is at that moment on a working visit to Moscow.
Vadim Krasnoselsky was also informed about the current replenishment of medicines as well as personal protective equipment. At the beginning of the week, the republic received 1500 doses of the Remdesivir medication. Currently, 1200 units are distributed among hospitals, 300 of them are in the Ministry of Health warehouse. According to the President’s website, in the immediate future, the next delivering of this anti-viral medication is expected: about 1864 medicine bottles. Another 20,000 doses have also been ordered.
This month the Russian Sputnik V vaccine primary consignment (42 thousand units) is expected to be delivered to the republic. Another 20 thousand doses will arrive in the May. Such an agreement was reached at the meeting between Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Deputy Head of the Russian Federation Presidential Administration Dmitry Kozak.
