The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Dmitry Kozak in Moscow

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky being on a working visit to the Russian capital met with Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak.

Vadim Krasnoselsky during the conversation highly appreciated the existing level of contacts with the Russian side that according to him are of an intensive and constructive nature.

The meeting participants held a thorough discussion on a wide range of topics, including current trends in the development of the general regional situation around the PMR. They touched upon aspects related to the current state of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement process, as well as the functioning of the peacekeeping mission on the Dniester.

They paid special attention to the issues of combating the pandemic. The PMR President noted the necessity for the earliest possible vaccination of the population of Pridnestrovie against COVID-19 in view of the emerging epidemiological situation. In this context, an agreement in principle was reached on the delivery of a batch of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to Pridnestrovie in the amount of 62 thousand doses: 42 thousand will arrive in April, the remaining 20 thousand - during May.

Thorough exchange of views took place on the development of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, consular and social support for Russian compatriots in Pridnestrovie, the implementation of other projects and initiatives within the framework of bilateral interaction.

The interlocutors agreed at the end of the meeting to continue working dialogue on the entire range of issues of mutual interest.
