The area between the Tiraspol theater and the buildings of the state university will be transformed in the near future. This territory is part of a large project, the goal of which is to combine pedestrian zones from the Theater named after Aronetskaya to Borodinskaya Square into a single landscaped canvas. The President followed the designated route today. He paid special attention to the areas near the PSU named after Shevchenko, asked about landscaping. The project is ready, they started to implement it. It is noted that the state of each tree is assessed. Most poplars will be demolished. Other hazardous trees that have become obsolete are also being eliminated. They will renew the rest of them, raise their crowns. Shrubs also need to be freshened up. New flower beds will be installed.
During the inspection tour, the participants of the meeting examined the sites, due to which it will be possible to expand the pedestrian zones and improve the recreational areas. They discussed the future design - the style in which small architectural forms and tiled flooring will be made.
Among the ideas that have yet to be formalized in the form of projects is the student fountain. It is proposed that his key figure make a statue of a student. Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure that new traditions of the Pridnestrovian students will be born along with its appearance.
The monument to Taras Shevchenko will also be put in order: its pedestal will be updated.
