COVID statistics

The number of detected cases of COVID-19 infection among Pridnestrovians increased to 35835 from the beginning of the pandemic. 761 deaths have been recorded (2% of the number of cases) according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President. 31695 people recovered.

3379 residents of the republic are carriers of the coronavirus at the moment. 1643 patients are being treated in quarantine hospitals, 269 of which are in serious condition, 62 are in intensive care, 9 people are connected to artificial lung ventilations. Specialized hospitals are loaded by 82%.

57 people with suspected infection are awaiting the results of laboratory tests in hospital setting. Another 1689 residents of the republic are being treated at home. 94 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to deteriorating health conditions from March 15 to March 17.

3315 samples of biomaterials were examined during the three days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Headquarters (163244 in total during the pandemic). The fact of infection with COVID-19 was confirmed in 1038 cases. 20 people died during this time, 484 recovered.

The average daily incidence rate in the republic in the reporting period amounted to 346 cases, 340 last week. 2637 people are on controlled self-isolation.

The Memorial to the Victims of Fascism has been reopened in Dubossary after reconstruction. It is located on the site where more than 18000 civilians were executed in the fall of 1941.
