The number of detected cases of COVID-19 infection among Pridnestrovians has increased to 32143 since the beginning of the pandemic according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President. 697 deaths have been recorded (2% of the number of cases). 29845 (93% of those infected) people recovered.
904 patients are being treated in quarantine hospitals, 20 of them are in serious condition, two are connected to artificial lung ventilations. Specialized hospitals are loaded by 52%.
55 people with suspected infection are waiting for the research results in hospitals. Another 646 residents of the republic are being treated at home. 50 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment from the 1st till the 4th of March due to deteriorating health conditions.
2185 samples of biomaterials were examined during the three days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters (149818 totally during the pandemic). The fact of infection with COVID-19 was confirmed in 505 cases. 8 people died during this time, 208 recovered.
The average daily incidence rate in the republic in the reporting period was 168 cases, 185 last week. 1786 people are on self-isolation under control.
