Tiraspol, February 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The State Customs Committee reminds that from 1 March this year amendments were introduced to the PMR Law on the “Electrocommunications” begin to take effect.
According to amendments, international economic activity, providing for the data terminal equipment import for electrocommunication as well as telecommunications facilities, which are integral to both the receiving telecom carrier’s services and their extension, is allowed only to legal entities.
In addition, only legal entities can accomplish goods importation that ensuring activation and the data terminal equipment identification, which are responsible for receipt of telecommunication operator’s services, and providing payment for it.
The State Customs Committee recommends that individual entrepreneurs seriously consider to these restrictions and refuse to import mobile phones, smartphones and other similar devices into Pridnestrovian territory for sale. In other circumstances, commodity products won’t be admitted to the state territory.
