Tiraspol, February 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to the PMR Government Decree No. 209 dated June 15, 2020, the entry of foreign citizens into the territory of the republic is limited and can only be permitted by the Operational Headquarters. A permit is only issued for valid reasons, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR reports.
First of all, foreigners need to address a request to the crisis center of the city that they are going to come to. Phone numbers can be found on the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs official website.
The request should be sent at least one day before the planned trip. It is necessary to indicate the date of arrival, duration of stay in the republic, purpose of the visit, contact phone number. And also attach copies of the following documents: identity document, driver's license (when traveling by private vehicle), as well as (if necessary) confirming the purpose of the visit. It is imperative to wait for the result of reviewing the request.
If there is a document with a negative test result for coronavirus, foreign citizens do not need to be in self-isolation. The validity period of a PCR test of another state should not exceed 72 hours before the moment of entry into the territory of Pridnestrovie.
If a foreign citizen refuses to take a PCR test upon his arrival in the republic, he will need to be in self-isolation for at least 14 days.
Anyone who wishes to take PCR test can do it in a medical institution of the city, in which he arrives.
