Konstantin Zatulin offered to assist Pridnestrovie with vaccination

The corresponding appeal will be sent to the Government of Russia

Moscow, January 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Special Representative of the Parliament for migration and citizenship, the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Konstantin Zatulin proposed to appeal to the Government of the Russian Federation for help with vaccination of unrecognized states` residents, including Pridnestrovie, at this year`s first plenary session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

“Mass vaccination began in the Russian Federation since yesterday. It seems to me that we need to instruct the Committee on Health Protection and the Committee on CIS Affairs to ask the Government in what time frame and in what volumes we can help vaccinate people in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, as well as people in Nagorno-Karabakh," Zatulin said.

As already reported, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky agreed to supply a batch of Russian coronavirus vaccine to Pridnestrovie. The issue was resolved during a working visit of the Head of State to Moscow in December. The topic of vaccination was discussed at a meeting with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak.

It is planned that the first 30 thousand doses will be used to vaccinate doctors, teachers and representatives of the republic's security forces. Citizens will be vaccinated on a purely voluntary basis. It was requested to formulate lists of potential vaccine recipients without delay.
