President suggests to prolong quarantine restrictions until February 1, 2021

The draft of the relevant law in the condition of legislative necessity was sent to the Supreme Council

Tiraspol, November 30. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The quarantine restrictions in the PMR can be prolonged until February 1, 2021. This initiative was put forward by President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The reason for working out a draft law was the need to continue the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection.

The draft document in the condition of legislative necessity was sent to the Supreme Council for consideration.

It should be reminded, that due to the coronavirus pandemic, a state of emergency had been declared in Pridnestrovie on March 17 this year. The state of emergency, and then quarantine restrictive measures, were repeatedly prolonged. Among them are mask mandate, social distance, fines for violation of quarantine, a special order of crossing the border, and others.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the coronavirus has been confirmed in 12,276 citizens. 8269 Pridnestrovians recovered, 245 died.
