Russia’s State Duma Deputy Andrey Kuzmin: The elections were held without administrative pressure

According to the parliamentarian, voting was organized at the high level with fulfilment the norms of the Electoral Code and international requirements

Tiraspol, November 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Elections of deputies of all levels in Pridnestrovie were organized at a high level with fulfilment the norms of the Electoral Code as well as international requirements, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Andrey Kuzmin said.

The parliamentarian visited a number of polling places in the Kamensky district. According to him, during the communication with voters, it was obvious, that they were not under administrative pressure.

“Looking at people, communicating with them, even they had masks on their faces. The eyes still betrayed. There is no any administrative pressure. It’s apparently, that people came willingly. They went to ensure coordination between the executive, legislative authorities and the population. They delegate authority to these branches of government to fulfill the assigned tasks,” Andrey Kuzmin said.

The deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation commended the observance of sanitary regulations at polling places.

“The attitude towards the prevention of coronavirus made an imperishable impression. And understanding the specifics of activities in this direction, the assessment is also positive. A line in front of some areas was in Kamenka. But people kept a social distance. Masks, gloves, disinfection were present. All these procedures take time, but people showed understanding. All protection measures were observed,” the parliamentarian summed up.
