Regular meeting of the Operational Headquarters for prevention of the spread of coronavirus was held. The Head of the Operational Headquarters Ruslan Mova presented the latest epidemiological data to the President and other participants of the meeting. 6294 cases of COVID-19 disease were identified during the pandemic in Pridnestrovie. Since the last meeting of the Operational Headquarters, 2283 samples have been sent for laboratory analysis. The fact of infection with COVID-19 was confirmed in 312 cases. 11 people died. 279 coped with the disease and were discharged from hospitals.
Totally, 154 deaths were recorded during the pandemic (2.4% of the number of cases). 4567 people recovered (73% of the total number of cases). 1360 people are in controlled self-isolation.
1238 infected patients are being treated in quarantine hospitals, 20 of whom are in serious condition, two are connected to lung ventilation. Another 138 Pridnestrovians in level I hospitals are awaiting the results of PCR testing.
To date, the hospital-infectious bed fund deployed in the republic is occupied by 73%. The health-improving complex "Dnestrovskie Zori" is ready to receive patients. The Head physician of the republican clinical hospital said that he personally examined the facility and confirmed its full readiness. As for the expansion of the hospital network in the north of the republic: an opportunity was found to ensure the stay and treatment of another 55 patients at the site of the operating Rybnitsa COVID center; its total capacity is 295 beds. More than fifty infected citizens with asymptomatic or mild form of the disease, if necessary, will be able to isolate on the basis of the MMZ dispensary, which was vacated by the employees of the infectious diseases hospital temporarily living there. There was no decision regarding the second building of the factory dispensary. The administration of MMZ received a proposal to assist in carrying out repair work in the building of an idle children's polyclinic in order to accommodate a branch of the hospital in its premises, and keep the administrative building as "clean" as possible. The President noted that he welcomes any help, but at the same time recalled that the need for beds will be covered by all available resources. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the increase in the incidence does not stop.
