Bendery, October, 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Alley of milestones will appear in the Alexander Nevsky Park in November. These are analogs of the versts of time established in the Catherine Park in the capital. Actually, they will be made in a different style, in the form of forged scrolls.
In total, there are 28 versts and 75 dates, which will tell not only about the history of the fortress, but also the city.
Fortress versts will be executed in the same style. Each scroll will contain several historical dates in Russian and English.
The scrolls of history will be placed on lamp posts on both sides of the park's central alley.
“They will be placed towards the citadel and back. So that every person, without even ordering a tour, could get a brief historical information about the history of the city,” Alexander Yaskov, Director of the Bendery Fortress historical memorial complex said.
Despite the fact that the plates will be made in the same style, they will still be different.
“We tried to make it interesting not only to read, but also to look at them,” Alexander Yaskov explained.
Now masters are finishing making forged elements. “All visitors to the Alexander Nevsky Park will be able to see the alley of milestones by mid-November,” Alexander Yaskov noted.
Note that the versts of history in the Alexander Nevsky Park will be installed on the initiative of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
