Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain

Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova was held at the presidential executive office. The previous discussion between Vadim Krasnoselsky and Steven Fisher is dated February this year. Today they continued to discuss issues of bilateral relations, as well as other topics of mutual interest. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he was glad to welcome the guest to the Pridnestrovian capital. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain, in turn, congratulated the residents of Tiraspol on the City Day that took place the day before.

The interlocutors talked about the economy and the impact that the coronavirus pandemic had on its development, discussed the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, focused on humanitarian issues - interaction in the educational and cultural fields. They also talked about sports, in particular about football, both professional and amateur, for the development of which appropriate conditions are created in the republic.

The participants of the meeting discussed in detail all the issues of interest, having agreed to continue interaction in a working manner. Vadim Krasnoselsky and Steven Fisher agree that the most effective and valuable is direct dialogue, when the interlocutors can voice and substantiate their position without intermediaries and possible distortions of the essence.
