Tiraspol, September 29 ./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The centenarian Nadezhda Prokopyevna Manserova celebrated her birthday in Tiraspol. She turned 104 years old o September 26. Galina Antyufeeva, Deputy Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council, visited the pensioner and presented her with a bouquet of roses and a medal in honor of the Great Victory 75th Anniversary.
The website of the PMR Supreme Council reports that Nadezhda Prokopyevna survived two world wars, a revolution, Pridnestrovie was formed on her eyes. For many years she worked as a mathematics teacher. She always loved to work and help everyone. The veteran wished everyone well on her birthday. According to her, the secret of longevity is simple: you need to work hard.
“I will say to young people one thing: don't be lazy and work hard. You should not be ashamed of any work whether it is mental or physical. Just do it well” - Nadezhda Manserova added.
Now Nadezhda Manserova’s daughter cared for her mother. She says that her mother hardly speaks about the terrible years of the Great Patriotic War. The pensioner recalls only the happiest day of her life, the Victory Day. Many photographs of Nadezhda Prokopyevna became exhibits of the museum.
