According to the information announced at today's meeting of the Operational Headquarters for prevention of the Spread of coronavirus, there are 3604 registered cases of coronavirus disease in Pridnestrovie. 866 of them were revealed within four days since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the PMR President. The workload of infectious diseases hospitals is 61%. There are 18 seriously ill patients among the patients who are currently not connected to artificial lung ventilation. 156 people are awaiting the results of biomaterial investigation taken to determine COVID-19. 1547 samples were taken for analysis during 4 days. 256 of them are positive. An important aspect: 35 doctors, 9 teachers, 14 children are out of the identified carriers of the infection. Four patients from coronavirus hospitals died during the same period. Totally, 89 Pridnestrovians failed to cope with the disease and its consequences during the pandemic (mortality rate 2.5%). 179 people were discharged from COVID centers from September 24 to September 27, who successfully completed treatment. The total proportion of those who recovered is 67% of the number of cases (2417 people).
Almost half - 1019 Pridnestrovians - were discharged after the end of treatment from the base hospital for the Pridnestrovian anti-coronavirus practice, deployed on the basis of the Slobodzeya hospital.
