The Head of the Operations Headquarters announced the statistics of the spread of coronavirus in the cities and regions of the republic. Tiraspol has a leading position - 812 residents of the capital have confirmed COVID-19. The following are Bendery - 764, Slobodzeya region - 380, Dubossary - 384, Grigoriopol region - 173, Rybnitsa region - 323, Kamenka - 37, Dnestrovsk - 15.
The highest incidence is in the age group from 50 to 59 years (617 cases, or 21%). More often women are ill - 1813 cases (63%). Among men there are 1075 confirmed cases of the disease (37%).
In connection with the revealed facts of diseases among students and teaching staff of Pridnestrovian schools, 2 classes in two schools were quarantined in Tiraspol over the past three days. Quarantine has been extended in one group of the capital's kindergarten number 54 until September 17. Kindergarten No. 25, the pulmonology department of the central city hospital and two 10th grades in two schools in the city have been quarantined in Bendery. On September 15, one class at the Slobodzeya and Chobruch schools, as well as a group of a day care center for children with disabilities in the village of Karagash were quarantined in the Slobodzeya district. In Dubossary, two classes in two schools were quarantined, where one sick student was identified. One school in the village of Lenino, three classes from different schools in the city of Rybnitsa, and one class in a Moldovan school in the village of Mikhailovka have been quarantined in the Rybnitsa region. COVID-19 was found in two pupils and one teacher in the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. All the necessary sanitary and epidemiological work was carried out in classrooms, offices of institutions where cases of infection were detected.
