Despite the fact that the President arrived in Rybnitsa today on festive occasion, he discussed the current issues of the district’s life with the Head of local administration after the opening ceremony of the fountain complex. The interlocutors visited some of the objects requiring special attention. Among them there is the Yubileiny sports complex. Its fate has long worried the leadership of the region and the state. The socially significant facility, designed for 200 visits per shift, needs serious investments. The sports center, which was commissioned in 1990, did not know any major overhaul until this summer. It was included in the capital investment fund program in 2020. The work started in July. The roof has already been repaired. 2.2 million rubles were allocated to bring it into proper condition. It is necessary to renovate the indoor track and field arena, changing rooms, showers, and a gym. Director of the Yubileiny Sports Complex Valery Vasiliev told the President that the plans include replacement of windows. The President emphasized that the approach to renovating the sports infrastructure should be comprehensive, therefore, the renovated gyms should be equipped with high-quality equipment and provided with sports equipment.
The President asked about the involvement of the population into the services of the sports facility. Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Rybnitsa Region and the city of Rybnitsa Mariana Golovina said that 18 sports are on the basis of the Yubileiny sports complex, including football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, powerlifting, athletics, and table tennis. The center is visited by about two thousand residents of the district. We are talking not only about professional athletes and young pupils employed in two dozen sections, but also about fans of sports games and citizens leading a healthy lifestyle. In addition, people with special needs go in for sports here. The training process of the Iskra city football team and local rowers is organized takes place at the Yubileiny In winter. An important component of the complex's activities is the holding of competitions, including international ones. Accommodation for their numerous participants is also provided: the infrastructure of the facility includes a hotel building for 60 people.
At the end of the inspection visit, Vadim Krasnoselsky wished the athletes and sports fans success, noting that the leadership of the institution, the city and the republic by joint efforts is doing everything possible to create comfortable conditions for training.
Accompanied by the Head of Rybnitsa administration, the President visited the city embankment. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the need for its improvement with a breakdown of a spacious multifunctional park zone during his previous working visits. The President gave appropriate recommendations and instructions. He asked about progress in performance today. The work is in progress. Attention was paid not only to the area between the river and the residential area, but also to the city beach. It is planned to expand the area along the Dniester, equipped for recreation of citizens near the water, as the beach is in great demand by local residents - especially this year with its special summer-vacation circumstances, which did not allow Pridnestrovians to go on vacation outside the republic.
The interlocutors discussed the upcoming landscaping of the recreational area and plans for the construction of so-called dry fountain, as well as the creation of a modern rollerdrome on the basis of the existing sports ground.
