Welcoming the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Moldova Dereck Hogan, Vadim Krasnoselsky said that there have been events that require joint discussion since the previous meeting. The problematic aspect is a serious slowdown in the dynamics of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that issues of humanitarian and social nature piled up. Many of them are not solved for years.
Dereck Hogan, in turn, expressed hope for speedy settlement of Moldova-Pridnestrovie relations in all available aspects and assured of readiness of the United States, as observers of the negotiation process, to assist the parties in resolving the accumulated issues.
The interlocutors during the meeting exchanged views on topical issues on the negotiation agenda. They discussed various issues of bilateral cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the United States.
