The regular meeting of the Presidential Operational Headquarters on the prevention of the spread of coronavirus in the territory of the PMR was held. Participants exchanged relevant data, discussed current issues, and adjusted work plans.
According to official data, there are currently 64 Pridnestrovians in Slobodzeya infectious hospital, and 53 have been diagnosed with coronavirus (two are minors). The age of patients is from 10 to 79 years. Most cases of infection (15) are in the age group of 50-59 years. The largest number of confirmed diagnoses of COVID-19 is among residents of the capital (27), a significant number of cases were detected in Slobodzeya (14) and Bendery (12). The zero indicator was preserved only in the Dubossary district. There are four lethal outcomes of coronavirus disease among Pridnestrovians (tonight there was no 65-year-old Tiraspol resident who was admitted to intensive care in an extremely difficult condition). In the context of this information, the President called for the maximum information of the population about the need to immediately consult a doctor if you feel unwell. The specificity of the coronavirus is such that the slightest delay can cost a life. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the creation of conditions for the possibility of calling a physician at home at any time of the day, including on weekends. On behalf of the President, the Ministry of Health approves the mechanism for involving district doctors in the work process on Sunday.
Among the normative legal acts prepared by the PMR Ministry of Health, there are instructions on the burial of coronavirus infection victims, an algorithm for the implementation of epidemiological control developed for medical institutions, a regulation on the sanitation regime for frequent visits and mass crowds. Work on clinical recommendations is ongoing, said the PMR Minister of Health Elena Kulichenko.
The Head of the Operations Headquarters Ruslan Mova informed the President and colleagues about the verification of 5000 three-stage tests for COVID-19 that arrived in Pridnestrovie from Russia. It is confirmed by their high quality. As for the laboratory on the basis of the center for the fight against AIDS and infectious diseases, repair and construction work is at the final stage. By the beginning of next week, delivery of specialized filters is expected. Time will tell how quickly they will be able to transport it to Pridnestrovie. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the maximum possible measures are being taken to ensure the safety of specialists. They will work in suits of increased protection. 1000 pcs were ordered abroad.
In the course of the meeting the current issues were discussed, including those arising from citizens of the republic (only the hot line of the Operational Headquarters received 21000 calls during its existence). The monitoring allows to quickly respond and solve problems arising - both privately and at the level of making adjustments to the legal framework. A lot of calls are connected with movement around the republic during the quarantine period. The president once again focused on the need for common sense in everything. Restrictions are associated with aimless walking on the streets of settlements, collective meetings and group walks. Walking with a child to fresh air (without contacting with other citizens), working on a personal plot, going to the cottage (you must have any document with you confirming it) - all this is not only acceptable, but also welcome, as it helps to improve health citizens and reduces social tension in society, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky. Speaking about the need to have an identity document and a certificate issued to employees involved in the work process, the President recalled that for individual entrepreneurs whose activities were not suspended during the state of emergency, the permit is a patent. You must have it with your passport with you when leaving your home. The President noted that this and similar information should be conveyed to citizens in all possible ways. Timely and complete public awareness is an important element of the coordinated work of the mechanism to prevent the spread of coronavirus and panic in society, the President emphasized.
They also spoke at the meeting about the daily activity of the Operational Headquarters, which has already become familiar and even traditional. The implementation by citizens who are in conditions of self-isolation of restrictive requirements is systematically monitored. Yesterday, controllers carried out 900 targeted checks. 22 violators are brought to responsibility. Five violations of the quarantine regime were revealed among one and a half thousand objects of trade inspected per day. The Department for fighting against Economic crimes employees did not reveal any facts of overpricing, stated Ruslan Mova. Participants of the headquarters in this regard noted that the price policy is stable throughout the republic, trade institutions are provided with plenty of goods, fuel and lubricants are available, the situation on the foreign exchange market is controllable, utility tariffs are unchanged. Speaking about trade organizations that committed offenses, the Head of the Operations Staff informed the President about the creation of special commissions at the territorial interior departments that solve issues of both suspension of activity and its resumption. At the moment, five appeals have been received. All of them, after confirmation of the elimination of violations satisfied. In this regard, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that citizens and business entities should understand a simple thing: all restrictions are aimed at protecting the health of citizens of the republic, and holding them accountable is not so much punitive as educational and disciplining practice.
