Tiraspol, February 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian kickboxers brought 5 medals from the international competitions in Croatia. They took part in the 10-th anniversary European Cup WAKO Karlovac Open 2020. This competition is one of the stages of the Cup of Europe, it is reported on the website of the Public Service for Sports of the PMR.
More than 2,400 participants from 29 countries took part in the competition. This was a record number
The Pridnestrovian delegation included kickboxers of the National Federation of Kickboxing and Muay Thai of Pridnestrovie from Ribnitsa and Tiraspol. All trainees showed a worthy result. They won two gold and three bronze medals. Vladimir Karaman (in the weight category up to 75 kg, juniors, Low-Kick section) and Kirill Saprygin (in the weight category up to 28 kg, younger schoolchildren in Kick-Light section) took first places. Maxim Vnodchenko (in the weight category up to 84 kg, adults, Kick-Light section), Daniil Maksimenko (in the weight category up to 32 kg, younger schoolchildren, Kick-Light section) and Dmitry Wenger (in the weight category up to 37 kg, younger schoolchildren, Kick-Light section) brought bronze medals.
