Tiraspol, February 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A large-scale IT conference D-Day will be held in Tiraspol on 22 March. It is planned that it will bring together more than 1,000 participants. The venue is the Palace of the Republic. The conference will be held during the day, it will be divided into three sections: for web developers, designers, the latter will be devoted to management. The organizers are the Dex Company, the Pridnestrovian IT Association, the BIT IT Education Development Fund, the Investment and Development Agency.
Speakers from leading Russian companies (totaling more than 20) will tell about innovations in the field of information technology: Yandex, Microsoft, Google, Rambler. In addition, an exhibition of robots and virtual reality will be placed in the lobby of the Palace of the Republic, as well as an IT fair, where there will be presented stands with information about various companies.
IT is possible to visit the conference by registering on the website. It will appear in the short term. Participants of all ages are invited, including schoolchildren. According to one of the organizers, the head of the Dex IT company, Ivan Gel, for those teenagers who live in areas of the republic remote from the capital but want to attend the conference, it is planned to organize transport, as it was at the vocational guidance IT conference for schoolchildren in December.
This is not the first such event in Pridnestrovie and not the last one. In May, the organizers want to launch Digital Weekend in the Bendery Fortress. It is planned that it will be something like a two-day open-air festival. Specialists from well-known and leading companies will also perform there.
If we talk about upcoming events, then there is a hackathon among them. It is organized with the support of the PMR Ministry of Health. It will work out ideas for developing a portal about a healthy lifestyle. The hackathon will take place on February 28, everyone is invited: both entire teams and individual specialists.
In general, the Pridnestrovian IT community has prepared a considerable number of events that contribute to the promotion of the field of information technology for 2020. And it's not just about conferences. For example, various seminars and webinars are often held. In addition, within the framework of the BIT IT Education Development Fund, it is planned to hold lectures for computer science teachers. According to the program of the fund, it is also planned to update the material and technical base of schools.
“This fund works in three main spheres. Firstly, it is helping schools. Secondly - helping the university, where it is necessary to update the program and establish close relations with business. And the last direction is the implementation of additional education, which involves schools of robotics and programming, holding of IT conferences,” Ivan Gel, the head of Dex IT company said.
In addition to seminars and various webinars, Dex has training courses in web, mobile and server development. The Pridnestrovian IT community has already prepared a program of events for the first half of 2020.
