Grigoriopol, December 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. 3.8 million rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund for the repair of a building constructed in 1936. These funds were used to overhaul the first and third floors, where there were the pediatric and maternity wards.
The children's department, which was visited today by PMR Prime Minister Alexander Martynov, is designed for 25 small patients. They got the opportunity to be treated in modern wards, provided with new furniture and bedding. As the head physician of the Grigoriopol CRH Alexander Kusnetsov said, soon new equipment should also be delivered to the department - a children's cardiograph, sterilizers, refrigerators. They will also be acquired at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund.
In addition to the pediatric building, the hospital area in Grigoriopol was partially repaired: hospital roads were covered in concrete, sidewalks were paved with tiles. Alexander Kusnetsov said that there has been 1.4 million rubles spent on these purposes.
Alexander Martynov called the opening of the repaired pediatric building a step forward in the development of healthcare in the Grigoriopol district. He recalled that that area was one of the state priorities.
Today, the leadership of the republic is taking measures to solve the problems that exist in Pridnestrovian medicine. At the expense of CIF funds, the infrastructure of medical institutions is being updated or built, modern equipment is acquired. The personnel problem is also on the monitoring. Alexander Martynov said that in the republican budget of 2020, limits has been set for an increase in the salary of medical workers from July 1. Moreover, the Prime Minister noted that that growth would be significant.
The head of the executive branch of Government said that the work in the Grigoriopol Central District Hospital through the Capital Investment Fund would not be limited to the new building of the pediatric building. Moreover, Alexander Kusnetsov stated that almost all the buildings of the medical institution needed reconstruction. “There are many plans. Repair is primarily needed in the main medical building, resuscitation department, catering unit,” the hospital’s Chief Doctor concluded.
