Tiraspol, December 20./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the final press conference of the President of the PMR, Vadim Krasnoselsky, along with many important topics, the issue of the disposal of ammunition in Kolbasna village was touched upon.

“The disposal of ammunition in Kolbasna village is the internal business of Pridnestrovie and Russia,” the President of the PMR said. He also noted that some international partners have politicized this issue in order to obtain political dividends.

At the meeting of President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, the Head of the Pridnestrovian State provided a plan for the disposal of ammunition. Its basis was the safety of citizens because warehouses with ammunition are located near settlements.

“The ammunition should be investigated by Russian specialists, then make a conclusion on how it should be disposed of. It will be discussed whether it will happen on the spot or it would be necessary to build a plant. It is necessary to make an appropriate analysis,” the Head of the state noted.

“It is necessary to base on the decisions of the specialists in this field, not to politicize this issue,”Vadim Krasnoselskiy added.

It should be noted that earlier the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova said that the disposal of ammunition in Pridnestrovie would be carried out in strict compliance with the safety norms and rules adopted in the Russian army. According to her, there are about 11 thousand tons of expiring ammunition.
